摘要: An electric machine including a magnetic component, forming part of its rotor or stator that loses characteristics above certain chosen temperature is disclosed. This material forms circuit guides flux about the stator. As result, any emanating with stops circulating this temperature, and acting as generator. The component thermally coupled to windings carrying current from machine's selected so lower than at which would be damaged. This, in turn, limits operating windings, thus prevents overheating during operation, typically caused by fault. Preferably formed ferrite material, such Manganese Zinc material.
