摘要: Abstract Magnesium based alloys are some of the widely used lightweight metals in vehicles and aerospace industries, but these materials having low strength to weight ratio when compared Aluminium. To enhance magnesium, ceramic like carbides oxides or natural residues added as reinforcements proved have better augmentations physical properties. In present work, AZ31 magnesium alloy is reinforced with 1%, 2%, 3% Ground Nut Shell Ash particles (GSAp) through powder metallurgy, properties Micro hardness, Compressive studied Microstructural analysis also done. The addition ash reinforcement has not shown much variation more than leads crack increases rate corrosion.
