Delivering Tourism Sustainability and Competitiveness in Seaside and Marine Resorts with GIS

摘要: In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly identified 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be achieved by year 2030. The study’s main objective is identify necessary conditions and potential for ensuring both sustainability competitiveness of tourism in seaside marine resorts located or at coastal protected areas on example Karklė (Lithuania). Based results a benchmarking study five South Baltic using Delphi technique, survey team deficiencies as resort an international scale. We address applying geographical information system decision-support tool Littoral Regional Park where located. conclude that resorts, it expedient combine Delphi-based with integrated management maritime spatial planning, which GIS indispensable tool.
