摘要: A new composition of matter comprising an acrylic silicate the type having general formula: ##STR1## wherein R=alkyl, aryl or H, R'=R OR Y=alkyl, vinyl, aryl, fluoroalkyl ##STR2## A=Y H; and B=oxyalkyl, oxyaryl, oxyfluoroalkyl, oxyalkylacrylate, alkyl esters, esters. This may be reacted with polymerizable esters to form optically transparent, machineable polymers useful in various applications, including use as gas-permeable hard corneal contact lenses.
