摘要: Polymer beads, particularly supermacroporous play important roles in biotechnological applications, such as their application adsorbents bioseparation processes and used carriers immobilization of cells or/and enzymes. In this study, polyacrylamide (pAAm) based cryogel beads were prepared via an inverse suspension polymerization method at low temperature (<0°C). Standard porous also room for comparison. The results showed that the diameter range 50–400 μm some irregular large pores 3–90 diameter, which had good biocompatibility, hydrophilicity, high porosity connected pores. To modify properties these embedded with nanoparticles TiO2 prepared. physical composite characterized improvement mechanical strength stability, indicated may be useful applications networks can facilitate mass transfer nutrients oxygen. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
