摘要: The effects of anxiety on learning cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) by family members patients with cardiac disease was examined. Family hospitalized (n = 17), nonhospitalized 12), and a control group 21) all took one nine Heart Saver programs in which CPR taught performance evaluated. Subjects the State Anxiety Inventory three times: immediately before program, after test, 2 months completion program. had significantly higher before-program scores than other groups. This difference not present program or later. showed significant decline over testing times. These outcomes support benefit teaching to this group.
