摘要: This study seeks to better understand the human-nature interface and measure variability of plant use knowledge among cultures, through inter- intracultural analyses. We compared collection, use, management two culturally distinct groups (Baitadi Darchula) Nepal Himalaya. They inhabit different physiographic regions, yet share same ecological landscape, environmental resources, livelihood challenges. hypothesized that elderly, native, traditional healers living in remote rural places possess more diverse detailed conservation than young, non-native, non-healers. A total 106 people were contacted for interviews, 100 (68 men 32 women) agreed ethnobotanical, demographic, socioeconomic information. asked about three most important plants their benefit, culture, primary health care, livelihood. The its transfer was strongly associated with cultural heritage whereas ecogeographical condition influences ways which are collected used. divergent between participants Baitadi Darchula significantly (p < 0.001) attributed area. low consensus (FiC 0–0.87; IASc 0–0.67) district could be due divergence, varied accessibility, heterogeneity, biodiversity uniqueness. Differences may help diversifying strategies accordance livelihood, environment, therefore, studies measuring these aspects can further ecosystem region.
