摘要: Flame-resistant clothing or fabrics against thermal exposure is a crucial requirement in order to ensure people survivability and protect the structure. A model-based method was developed evaluate performance of flame-resistant used protective clothing. The skin simulant sensor determine heat flux at surface from elevation temperature surface. then applied newly wave model (STWM) instead Pennes' model, which inherits some questionable physical physiological aspects, Henriques burn integral incorporated into new predict level injury. Results tolerance time Stoll criterion are also compared with those two models (Pennes' STWM) by calorimeter. Deviations between STWM traditional equation imply that STWM, accounts for finite propagation, may provide realistic predictions on evaluation. comparison measurements show test results correlated well obtained model. Therefore, this provides technique accurately precisely characterize fabrics.
