摘要: Modern Christianity has failed to update its myths and even eliminated them, thus, excluding the metaphysical experience indispensable religion (Jung). Myths should be interpreted, not eliminated. Answering question about how interpret without eliminating them or their intended effect is object of this paper. The study investigates possibility interpreting as metaphors, in a non-literal way. Various definitions metaphor myth, theories for interpretation are discussed, with focus on relationship symbolic universes. Finally, non-mythical universe structured by root-metaphors suggested framework existential mythical concepts New Testament.
