摘要: We study the sequential energy detection problem in context of spectrum sensing for cognitive radio networks. formulate a novel Sequential Energy Detector and provide comprehensive its performance. The sensitivity Test to primary signal variance estimation is addressed first time ever this paper. Specifically, we develop an Iterative Hybrid Bayesian method robustly estimate variance. Through extensive simulations it demonstrated that our version detector delivers significant throughput improvement 2 6 times over fixed sample size test while maintaining equivalent operating characteristics as measured by Probabilities Detection False Alarm. Our also demonstrate enhanced robustness gained via use new Variance Estimator which converges only 10 iterations on average performance within 10% with perfect knowledge actual
