摘要: An adsorptive monolith made by extruding a mixture of activated carbon, ceramic forming material, flux and water, drying the extruded monolith, firing dried at temperature for time period sufficient to react material together form matrix. The extrudable may also comprise wet binder. has shape with least one passage therethrough desirably plurality passages honeycomb. be vacuum drying, freeze or control humidity drying. is useful removing volatile organic compounds other chemical agents such as ozone from fluid streams. Particularly applications include filters xerographic devices appropriate office machines automobile engine air intake systems.
