摘要: When analysing objects in images, it is necessary to distinguish the of interest from background. This task can be achieved through segmentation process. Image one most challenging issues image processing domain. It remains an active research area with aims between foreground and background objects. In order extract useful information image, edge detection a reliable technique solve this issue. Edge that at extracting boundaries by manipulating discontinuities gaps pixels. paper focuses on demonstrating enhanced integrating framework; modified entropy based approach Canny technique. By two well-known techniques, true edges were able identify effectively. The peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) structural similarity index measure (SSIM) for proposed shown was 4.1% 16.75% higher than prominent techniques respectively. produced better quality contains lesser noise.
