摘要: While the mental health profession's acceptance of cultural diversity has been commendable with regard to race, gender, and ethnicity, it not extended this adequately religious client: counselors have failed adhere American Counseling Association's Code Ethics when working particular population. There are many ethical issues involved in counseling client, is imperative that professionals be aware these regulate their practices conform guidelines so they may most ethically effectively meet special needs clients. The paper concludes a set for use counselor education programs which should follow Guidelines include: refer clients widely divergent values from counselor's; avoid using therapy as context evangelistic activities promoting cause; collaborate regarding goals fit needs; try integrate clients' treatments beliefs.
