摘要: Bostryx scalariformis (Mollusca, Gastropoda) is a land snail species from central Peru. It endemic to coastal "lomas" ecosystem and inhabits mainly in sand formations. Alive individuals have only been found Ancon, Pasamayo, Lachay Cerro de Agua lomas Lima department. This has two morphotypes, which turn are geographically isolated, one morphotype Ancon-Pasamayo the other Lachay-Cerro Agua. Habitat fragmentation decreasing of population size could lead reduction genetic diversity differentiation between its populations. The aim this research was evaluate B. comparing it with both geographical distribution order know about structure. A morphometrical analysis performed 200 shells four localities using 10 variables shell. snails were used extract total DNA foot muscle 16S rRNA gene amplified by PCR.
