摘要: In the fallow system, soil is left undisturbed for a very variable period of time so that pool organic matter recovers and resembles found in adjacent mature forests. To prove this practice was carried out survey town Quilombo Damasio, City Guimaraes, Maranhao State where samples were obtained areas 25, 20, 15, 10, five years; current cultivated area (farming) other primary forest (control) layers 0-20 20 to 40 cm. The system at both depths times, showed increases macronutrient losses. For statistical analysis we observed significant differences contributions loss nutrients between treatments (fallow times) analyzed. correlation positive association negative respondents macronutrients (P, K+, Ca2+ Mg2+). Over efficient recovery natural fertility.
