摘要: Disability is a central cultural identity and category in Australia, but this not often realized. We seek to make contribution conversations critical analyses of disability Australian culture through an exploration privileged national form, namely film. The trope looms large late twentieth century cinema, yet comment on these 'disabled' scripts performances has considered disabilities studies perspective. Accordingly, article we combine our different perspectives film into account how specific films use disability. In particular, analyse key from the 1990s as examples powerful displays bodies personhood.
