摘要: To combat against serial Sex Offenders (SOs), recent laws call for the use of Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology to monitor their movements 24 hours a day. In this paper, we suggest spatio-temporal database suitable store trajectories such category criminals, besides traditional data pertinent context (i.e., about home, past history offences, (pending) crimes, and sensible areas). show effectiveness kind database, then focus on an investigative strategy that takes profit from availability trips SOs in implement it terms simple queries. As software platform, SECONDO DataBase Management System (DBMS) is adopted, since offers type moving objects as well reach set spatiotemporal operators greatly simplify management trajectories. The solution recommended our paper opens frontier new generation applications, much more effective than those currently used by several criminal investigation departments all over world, because keeps together two components fully describe any event, namely: space time.
