Strong x-ray magnetic circular dichroism in a "forbidden geometry" observed via photoemission.

摘要: A strong magnetic circular dichroism has been observed in core-level photoemission a geometry where it is considered to be forbidden\char21{}that is, when the x-ray wave vector and sample magnetization are perpendicular. This observation sharp contradiction existing models of dichroism. Recent experiments studying 2p levels iron indicate that consistent interpretation all results obtained final-state-selection effects angle-resolved taken into account.
