摘要: We investigated a minor polypeptide component of 100-kDa detected in the rabies virion (referred to as VAP100) by using monoclonal antibody (mAb), #16743, which was shown recognize SDS-denatured VAP100 antigen immunoblot analyses. Although hardly detectable cell usual methods with this mAb, we could detect luminescent method well immunoprecipitation from metabolically radiolabeled lysates and virions. Fluorescent (FA) staining mAb #16743 uniformly distributed on formalin-fixed normal BHK-21 cells, while slight accumulation also seen Golgi area when cells were permeabilized treatment Triton X-100 after fixation. Rabies virus infection induced alteration behavior show spotted distribution pattern virus-infected cells. Double FA rabbit against envelope demonstrated colocalized viral antigens cell. From these results, think that is membrane-associated cell, its implicates an intimate association protein(s) reflection possible involvement efficient incorporation into virion.
