摘要: The power of Drosophila genetics can be used to facilitate the molecular dissection sleep regulatory mechanisms. While evaluating total time and homeostatic processes provides valuable information, other variables, such as latency, bout duration, cycle length, day when longest is initiated, should also explore nature a genetic lesion on processes. Each these variables requires that recording interval identify periods waking determined accurately empirically. This article describes procedures for in associated methodological constraints. In addition, it results from normative data set 1037 Canton-S female flies 639 male illustrate variability one extract 24 h collection Drosophila.
