摘要: Abstract “Taxocene surrogation” and “taxonomic sufficiency” concepts were applied to the monitoring of soft bottoms macrobenthic assemblages influenced by fish farming following two approaches. Polychaete assemblage evaluation through multivariate analysis benthic index BOPA compared. Six farms along Spanish Mediterranean coast monitored. provided a suitable picture impact gradient, being correlated with total free sulphides. did not support gradient described polychaete assemblage, providing erroneous categorizations. The inclusion several families, which locally identified as indicative affection recalculate BOPA, resulted in an improved diagnosis correlation gradient. Nevertheless, frequent misclassifications occurred. These results suggest that structure sulphides granulometry conform appropriate strategy for monitoring. Biotic indices need be specifically designed concrete activities, regionally validated, because environmental plasticity invertebrates.
