摘要: This study deals with the production of some Al-SiO2 composites and evaluation milling intensity over distribution silica particles into Al matrix. Samples for mechanical characterization were prepared from powders by compaction sintering using a solid-state route complemented milling. The response was modified as direct function intensity, but an adverse effect observed prolonged times. Electron microscopy studies reveal homogeneous dispersion insoluble matrix, which is associated high grain refinement in synthetized giving important improvement on strength. Also, spheroidal structure not altered nor destroyed (mechanically and/or chemically) during composite synthesis.
