摘要: Abstract The catalytic recombination of atoms along a surface with discontinuous variation the activity is studied. catalycity considered to have discrete jump from either zero or infinity an arbitrary but constant value at given location. Highly cooled hypersonic laminar boundary layers are for general two-dimensional and axisymmetric bodies. Two approaches used in study: Volterra integral equation which solved by both series method numerical modified Pohlhausen method. effect non-catalytic up-stream on heat transfer down-stream surfaces finite discussed. Also, advanced increase sensitivity differential gage determination local atom concentrations high temperature experimental facilities.
