摘要: BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES The degradation in robotic skills that occurs during periods of surgical inactivity newly trained surgeons was measured. role animate training skill also assessed. METHODS Robotically naive resident and attending underwent with the da Vinci robot on needle passage (DN), rocking ring transfer peg board (RPB), running suture pod tasks (SP). Errors were established to convert actual time adjusted time. Participants deemed "proficient" once their times within 80% those set by experienced through repeated trials. did not use except for repeating at 4, 8, 12 weeks (tests). then completed a final test 7 days. RESULTS Twenty-five 29 enrolled; 3 withdrew. There significant increases complete each tasks, errors, 4 (Adjusted times: DN: 122.9 +/- 2.2 204.2 11.7, t = 6.9, P < .001; RPB: 262.4 2.5 364.7 8.0, 12.4, SP: 91.4 1.4 169.9 6.8, 11.3, .001). Times decreased following training, but levels observed after proficiency RPB SP modules. CONCLUSIONS Robotic degrade significantly surgeons. Animate may provide different than acquired dry lab.
