摘要: A key objective of IEA-ETSAP is to assist decision makers in robustly developing, implementing and assessing the impact energy climate mitigation policies. This chapter focuses on four case studies, which there clear evidence a direct link between use MARKAL TIMES scenario modelling activities resulting policy decisions. The studies selected assess how (i) UK model informed development UK, focusing Energy White Paper 2003, 2007 Climate Change Act 2008; (ii) Irish legislation Ireland 2014 Ireland’s negotiating position regarding EU 2030 Package 2014; (iii) TIMES_PT Portugal last 10 years has supported design policies; (iv) IEA ETP Model G8 responding 2005 Gleneagles Plan Action work Major Economies Forum Clean Ministerial. collates methodologies results from these different summarizes some findings frameworks goals; have been intertwined with tool during process; role economic stakeholders dialogue; main insights exercises; (v) lessons learnt: effective contributions real limitations (vi) recommendations.
