摘要: The interaction of atomic hydrogen with clean and deuterium precovered Ru(1010) was studied by means temperature-programmed desorption (TPD) spectroscopy. Compared to molecular experiments, after exposure the surface gas-phase at 90 K, two additional peaks grow in spectra 115 150 K. saturation coverage, determined equilibrium between abstraction adsorption reactions, is 2.5 monolayers. Preadsorbed experiments show that a pure Eley–Rideal mechanism not involved process, while hot atom (HA) kinetics describes well reaction. By least-squares fitting experimental data, simplified HA kinetic model yields an cross section value 0.5±0.2 A2. oxygen also both TPD x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy: oxygen hydrogenation water production take place already ...
