摘要: Managerialism and the neoliberal lifestyle are dulling our ability to think for, or beyond, ourselves. Recourse Garden of Peace enables us rediscover intellectual capacities. Yet, in that sanctuary, we also encounter meta-issues era. Several “big questions” geography proposed by Cutter, Golledge, Graf (2002) direct attention three domains risk related Western economic, political, social capital under neoliberalism. They terrorism, limits liberalism, future labor. With backdrops democracy, globalization, cosmopolitanism, this article explores their development interrelations, working through various options presage geographies forms governance 2050. The scenario judged most likely, however, exemplifies contradictions challenges confronting West next half-century.
