摘要: Abstract Steady-state current-potential curves recorded at rotating disk electrodes for electrode reactions that are subject to electrocatalysis often exhibit increasingly inclined (instead of flat) plateau currents as the rotation rate is increased. Evidence and arguments presented in support proposition phenomenon a reflection true potential-dependence measured on plateaux. A model suggested explain reason this potential dependence; calculated basis compared with experimental reduction O2 catalyst-coated bare graphite demonstrate adequacy model.
