摘要: Dinosaur traces are well known from the western United States in Colorado Plateau region (Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona). Utah contains greatest abundance of documented dinosaur footprints trackways. Far less known, however, is occurrence distribution footprint-bearing horizons Wyoming. Scientific studies over past 10 years have shown that three four Middle Upper Jurassic formations northern Wyoming contain footprints. Two located geologic intervals were once thought to been deposited offshore nearshore marine settings represent rare North American examples (Bajocian Bathonian) remains.
