摘要: We describe a hidden mechanism for stable mode locking of solid-state lasers that uses slow saturable absorber. The physical origin this novel is attributed to the transformation saturable-absorber-induced self-frequency shift into fast nonlinear loss because absorption line off resonance. Based on exact solution governing steady-state equation, we investigate in detail dependence pulse parameters laser control connection with stability region solution.
