摘要: Abstract Polyethylene oxide (PEO) was introduced to improve the dispersion of graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) in poly (lactic acid) (PLA) matrix. GNPs were dispersed into PEO aqueous solution and freeze-dried form PEO/GNPs masterbatch, followed by melt-mixed with PLA prepare nanocomposites. Three grades different molecular weights evaluated. It is found that adding very low loading (1 wt%) enhances matrix, resulting remarkable improvement elongation at break PLA/GNPs without obviously sacrificing its modulus tensile strength. Meanwhile, reveals a synergistic effect promoting crystallization. Moreover, significantly thermal stability PLA, while further addition does not apparent compromise this effect. In addition, weight presents best improving properties
