In fact, all evidence indicates that progression from normoglycemia to dysglycemia frank hyperglycemia occurs along continuum not just plasma concentrations but also underlying mechanisms. Therefore, can be described equally well as shifts in tolerance category and terms continuous changes parameters [1].
