摘要: One of the most critical aspects population dynamics in any animal species is birth and successful rearing young. Therefore, understanding characteristics areas where wolves give rear pups (den rendezvous sites) important for proper management. In Great Lakes region, gray wolf has made a remarkable recovery, from small remnant northeastern Minnesota to recolonization northern Wisconsin Upper Peninsula Michigan. this chapter, we review relevant literature on dens sites attempt determine those factors selection homesites upper region.
