摘要: Abstract The cold spray technique has a great potential to deposit refractory metals for variety of applications. Cold spraying different have been addressed comprehensively understand the deposition characteristics coatings. Since there is no available data on sprayed Niobium, impact behavior splats at conditions were simulated and numerically analyzed using Finite Element Modeling (FEM) correlated with experimental observations that highlight role velocity temperature particle upon bonding features. increase in splat drastically reduces flow stress interface leading best inter-splat state. synergistic effect leads formation very dense, defect free niobium coating associated deformation localization including melting. Formation nanocrystalline grains boundary was confirmed through TEM compared FEM findings. Finally, understanding metal such as will be helpful engineer coatings
