摘要: The Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Long-Term Evolution/System Architecture Evolution (LTE/SAE) seeks to take mobile technology the next level through realization of higher bandwidths, better spectrum efficiency, wider coverage, and full interworking with other access/backend systems. LTE/SAE proposes do all this using an all-IP architecture well-defined circuit-switched Additionally, evolved 3GPP system introduced a hybrid network supporting radio access technologies several mobility mechanisms. We begin chapter by introducing LTE reference model define its various functional entities interconnection possibilities. Next, we discuss end-to-end protocol layering in network, selection discovery, IP address allocation. Finally, describe more detail processes associated security, QoS, management.
