摘要: Abstract : Scattering of acoustic energy by inhomogeneities within the water column, or volume reverberation, is a major source interference to underwater sonar systems. As naval defence systems have high dependence on detection, knowledge factors that affect relevant interests. This report reviews literature propagation marine organisms, with particular emphasis Australian waters. Acoustic scattering in ocean generally occurs discrete layers called Deep Layers. Theoretical and experimental investigations shown conclusively caused organisms. Reverberation profiles are dominated resonance back-scattering from gas-filled swimbladders midwater fish, particularly at frequencies between 0.5 20 kHz. At higher frequencies, fish tissue planktonic organisms becomes significant. Information identity properties sound Austrailian region sparse. (Author)
