摘要: Iron is an essential element for plant growth and development, since it fundamental the proper functioning of numerous metabolic enzymatic processes. Calcareous soils with restricted iron availability plants are commonly found in Mediterranean basin where citrus major fruit crop. The genus Citrus related rootstocks species considered to be susceptible chlorosis. deficiency tolerance determined by rootstock so trees display differences susceptibility according they have been grafted on. Field trials carried out select chlorosis-tolerant genotypes. Evaluation yield parameters may not sufficient rank their chlorosis, addition, field take a long time obtain results. Greenhouse screening tests easier implement than order evaluate tolerance. Several physiological measured test deficiency. Nevertheless new techniques needed identify genotypes which can used breeding programs.
