On the approximate solution of elastic contact problems for a circular annulus

摘要: Paper concerns the Boussinesq and Reissner-Sagoci contact problems for a rigid punch in with plane face of an isotropic elastic half-space over circular annulusb≤r≤a. It is shown that simple combination interior exterior Dirichlet Neumann solutions circle, when expressed terms oblate spheriodal coordinates, yields extremely accurate approximate provided 0≤b/a≤0.8.
