摘要: Abstract One-hundred and twenty-five domestic roof-collected rainwater supplies in four rural Auckland districts were investigated a cross-sectional survey to determine water quality. Samples of cold faucet analysed for physico-chemical microbiological determinands, including metals (zinc, copper lead), bacterial indicator organisms—heterotrophic plate count (HPC), total coilforms (TC), faecal coliforms (FC), enterococci (ENT), pathogens Salmonella spp., Legionella Campylobacter Aeromonas spp. the protozoa, Cryptosporidium Giardia. Twenty-two (17.6%) exceeded one or more maximum acceptable values (MAV) guideline chemical determinands New Zealand Drinking Water Standards (NZDWS) 70 (56.0%) criteria
