摘要: Treatment for medulloblastoma carries significant risks, particularly in resource-constrained settings. We report a case of Mexican infant with desmoplastic/nodular medulloblastoma. Given the nature her tumor, we developed tailored regimen following subtotal resection to avoid both radiation therapy and high-dose cisplatin offered at most centers United States. The patient is remission 4 years after initial diagnosis. This suggests an alternative treatment plan this particular tumor variant that accommodates limited resources many around world avoids risks associated young age.
