摘要: We report the first measurements of optical emission spectra mercury plasma produced by fundamental, second and third harmonics a Nd : YAG laser, which reveals numerous transitions due to neutral singly ionized mercury. The excitation temperature has been determined from Boltzmann plots, whereas electron number density is estimated Stark broaden profile spectral lines. range (7000–14000) K (3.6 × 1016 2.5 1017) cm−3, respectively. behaviour with laser irradiance studied. spatial distribution also investigated besides studies absorption in through inverse bremstrahlung photoionization.
