摘要: In order to elucidate the localization and specificity of corticosteroid feedback receptors in hypothalamo-hypophyseal system, various steroids were implanted median eminence anterior pituitary female rats their effects on stress-induced ACTH release investigated. Suppression was observed after implantation dexamethasone, cortisol, corticosterone, 11-dehydro-corticosterone 11-deoxycorticosterone (DOC) eminence. 11-Deoxycortisol (Reichstein’s substance S), tetrahydrocortisol, pregnenolone, progesterone, testosterone ineffective when this region. Infundibular cortisol implants suppressed release, while other not effective. Dexamethasone 11-deoxy-corticosterone also bilaterally pituitary. It is concluded that ‘feedback receptors’ may exist, both hypothalamus Failure suppress by some corticosteroids infundibular region or seems depend solubility brain tissues amount rather than structure molecule.
