摘要: Production of lipid from starch in a two-component mixed culture fed batch process was studied. Saccharomycopsis fibuliger used as the amylolytic microorganism and Rhodosporidium toruloides, which does not grow on starch, producer. The concentration nitrogen can be an external regulator growth competition this process. total biomass decreased relative amount Rh. toruloides increased with decreasing initial medium. highest (9.7 g·l-1), overall production rate (0.15 g·l-1·h-1) (36.5%) were obtained cultures 0.5 g·l-1. Compared to monocultures Lipomyces starkeyi Aspergillus oryzae showed slightly lower conversion but superior final rate.
