摘要: Triglyceride oils derived from plants have been used to synthesize several different monomers for use in structural applications. These found form polymers with a wide range of physical properties. They exhibit tensile moduli the 1–2 GPa and glass transition temperatures 70–120 °C, depending on particular monomer resin composition. Composite materials were manufactured utilizing these resins produced variety durable strong materials. At low fiber content (35 wt %), composites acrylated epoxidized soybean oil by transfer molding displayed modulus 5.2 GPa, flexural 9 strength 129 MPa, 206 MPa. higher contents (50 %) compression 24.8 each, compressive strengths 463.2 302.6 respectively. In addition fibers, natural fibers such as flax hemp used. Hemp 20% 35 MPa 4.4 GPa.
