摘要: Most successful organizations are very clear about their purposes, and when difficulties arise they fall back to essential principles. It isn’t good enough just talk “moral purposes” in education without coming clean as what is meant by the term. When one cuts through a lot of rhetoric “world class education” “no child left behind,” many western jurisdictions apologists, caught up standards/standardization agenda, still define intent terms narrow measures human potential measured test scores, or drive-by inspections, parental popularity contests. This chapter contends that educational leadership must be an unwavering commitment enhancing deep broad learning, not merely tested achievement, for all students, this end, more realistic sustainable, but much messier way view achieve goal, school, locality, state nation “living systems” which leader leads from center interconnected network apex hierarchy.
