摘要: Although laparoscopic splenectomy has been gradually regarded as an acceptable therapeutic approach for patients with massive splenomegaly, intraoperative blood loss remains important complication. In effort to evaluate the most effective and safe treatment of we compared three methods surgery treating including open splenectomy, a combination preoperative splenic artery embolization plus splenectomy. From January 2006 August 2011, 79 underwent in our hospital. Of them, 20 combined (group 1), 30 had alone 2), 29 3). Patients’ demographics, perioperative data, clinical outcome, hematological changes were analyzed. Preoperative was successfully performed all group 1. One patient 2 required conversion traditional because severe loss. Compared 2, significantly shorter operating time, less loss, postoperative hospital stay noted No marked significant differences complications either observed. 3, 1 stay, fewer complications. found time. There increase platelet count white both groups during follow-up period. reduced time decreased when or Splenic is useful adjunctive procedure splenomegaly benefit outcomes.
