摘要: Objectives: To evaluate the oral health knowledge, attitudes, and practices among secondary school students in Al-Karak Governorate. Method: A cross-sectional school-based study was conducted from February to May 2012. Multi-stage random sampling used. Six public schools within Directorate were chosen randomly. Data analysed using SPSS P value considered significant at 0.05. Results: The results show that mean knowledge scores for children 60.8 with a statistically difference between male female (P<0.05). Nearly three-quarters of them reported regular visits dentist are necessary. In contrast, nearly half visited regularly one fifth would only visit when they felt pain. 80% brushed their teeth toothbrush, about 35.5% least twice day or more.
