Superhydrophobic and colorful copper surfaces fabricated by picosecond laser induced periodic nanostructures

摘要: Abstract In this study, functional copper surfaces combined with vivid structural colors and superhydrophobicity were fabricated by picosecond laser. Laser-induced periodic surface structures (LIPSS), i.e. ripples, laser nanostructuring to induce rainbow-like which are uniquely caused the grating – type structure. The effects of processing parameters on formation ripples investigated. We also discussed mechanism ripples. With different combinations parameters, various morphologies fabricated. After modification triethoxyoctylsilane, types exhibited levels wettability. fine minimal redeposited nanoparticles high adhesive force water. increased amount nanoscale decreased water contact angle simultaneously. particular, a specific large 153.9 ± 3.2° low sliding 11 ± 3°.
