摘要: The world oil market is regarded by many as a puzzle. Why are prices so volatile? What OPEC and what does do? Where headed in the long run? Is “peak oil” genuine concern? did spike summer of 2008, role speculators play? Any attempt to answer these questions must be informed disciplined economics. Such purpose this essay: illuminate recent developments from perspective economic theory.
