Computed tomography evaluation of the temporomandibular joint in Class II Division 1 and Class III malocclusion patients: Condylar symmetry and condyle-fossa relationship

摘要: Introduction The purpose of this study was to investigate the condyle-fossa relationship, concentric position condyles, and dimensional positional symmetries between right left condyles in Class II Division 1 III malocclusion samples. Methods Thirty subjects from 12 38 years age with 16 13 41 had computed tomography temporomandibular joints. images obtained axial slices were evaluated for possible asymmetries size condylar processes associated these malocclusions. sagittal used assess depth mandibular fossa, Paired Student t tests applied, Pearson product moment correlations determined after measurements on both sides obtained.
